Welcome to Uzbekistan Information Directory! This is a site on Uzbekistan created and maintained by UzLand.Info. The site was created in February of 1998. It has news on Uzbekistan compiled from various international, government and other sources as well as news archive since 1998. The site is in Russian and English, however, news reports are in English only. Here you can find many things on Uzbekistan: geographic information, statistics on population, the country's membership in international organizations, its government structure, a list of Uzbek government members, heads of parliament committees, heads of Uzbek missions worldwide, economic figures drawn from both government and international sources, images of Uzbekistan that give an idea of what Uzbekistan looks like if you've never been to this part of the world.
