Kyrgyz Parliament ratifies agreement on accession of Uzbekistan to EurAsEC

The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan has ratified an agreement on the accession of Uzbekistan to the EurAsEC today, June 13, Kazakhstan Today correspondent reports.

The document was presented to MPs by Alikbek Djekshenkulov, Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan. According to him, the accession of Uzbekistan to the EurAsEC will allow to strengthen bilateral and multilateral partnership.

The on the accession of Uzbekistan to the EurAsEC was signed on 25 January, 2006, in Saint-Petersburg.

Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan make part of the EurAsEC.
