He is going there to launch a comprehensive rural health mission in Uttar Pradesh. He will leave for China the next morning. According to a spokesman of the state health department, "the former president will attend a dinner to be hosted by state Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav at his official residence. It is not known who President Clinton will meet with while at the Tashkent aiport, if any.
