Uzbekistan opens credit line for Russia importers

October 14The National Bank of foreign economic activities of Uzbekistan has opened a credit line for the Russian joint-stock commercial bank Asia Invest.
As Itar-Tass learnt at the National Bank of Uzbekistan, in accordance with the two banks’ agreements, the volume of the credit line amounts to 60 million dollars.
According to the bank’s press service, these funds will be used for financing Russia’s entrepreneurs importing from Uzbekistan goods and services, including cars, trucks and buses made at Uzbek automobile plants, industrial equipment, textile, agricultural products and other non-raw materials goods.
As representatives of the press service said, the term of repayment of these credits is up to one year and the rate of interest will be “floating.”
