Uzbekneftegaz gas production up 5% in 9 months

November 5Uzbekistan's national oil and gas company Uzbekneftegaz increased production of natural gas in the first nine months by 5% to 44.385 billion cubic meters, the State Statistics Department said in a press release.
Production of liquid hydrocarbons shrank 5.9% in the period to 5.048 million tonnes, including 3.103 million tonnes of oil, down 4.8% year-on- year, and 1.944 million tonnes of gas condensate, down 7.6%.
Uzbekneftegaz refined 4.204 million tonnes of oil in the first nine months, down 1.5% year-on-year. It produced 1.018 million tonnes of gasoline, down 5.5%, 1.177 million tonnes of diesel fuel, up 6.8%, 280,600 tonnes of kerosene, up 1%, 155,800 tonnes of furnace fuel oil, up 50.8%, 896,900 tonnes of heating oil, down 20.3%, and 233,400 tonnes of petroleum asphalt, down 3.8%.
Production of lubricants increased 43.1% to 171,100 tonnes.
The company's gas processing plants refined 30.801 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the period, up 4.9% year-on-year. Production of liquefied gas grew 24.2% to 144,100 tonnes.
Uzbekneftegaz is the monopoly in the oil and gas sector and was formed in 1998. It includes four companies.
