Uzbekistan completed construction of gas pipeline bypassing Turkmenistan

September 3Uzbekistan has completed construction of the Shurtan-Sherabad gas pipeline in the country's southern regions bypassing Turkmenistan, a source in top management of the Uzbek national oil and gas holding company Uzbekneftegaz told Interfax.
He said the pipeline estimated at 90 bl sum was built at the expense of the holding company and will be operated by the Uztransgaz company. The 193-kilometer line has an annual carrying capacity of about one bl cubic meters.
