"Relations between Italy and Uzbekistan are very good" declared the Deputy Minister for Productive Activities, Adolfo Urso, at the end of the meetings between the Italian-Uzbekistan groups, "despite the fact that there are problems for foreign and Italian entrepreneurs who want to enter the local market, above all as regards the customs on the imports of consumer goods." Urso has therefore asked the uzbekistani government to "accelerate the macro-economic reforms that could bring the country towards a market economy model so as to bring in more foreign investment." The strategic sectors where our smann and medium-sized industries can operate are the manufacturing of slike and the electronics, telecommunications, agriculture and space technology sectors.
