November 27Israil Khushbakov, the tallest resident of Uzbekistan, lives in the Sukhardarya region in the country's south. He is 2.4 meters tall.
There are six children in the Khushbakov family, but only Israil, 23, has such unique physical characteristics. His footwear size is 65, and it takes 12 meters of fabric to make him a national gown, called a chapan. Israil can wear only tailored clothing.
He rarely travels long distances, because he cannot sit in a car. Israil has a good appetite and eats seven or eight meals a day.
Physicians who are watching the young man's development say he may grow another 20 centimeters more before he turns 25.
