Erdogan to visit Uzbekistan on December 18-20

December 10Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will go to Brussels on Thursday.
Erdogan will attend the EU summit of heads of states and governments of member and candidate countries that will be held in Brussels between 12-13 December. Erdogan will participate in the lunch to be hosted by European Liberals on Thursday afternoon.
Prime Minister Erdogan who will take part in studies of the summit that will start on Friday, is also expected to hold bilateral contacts with heads of states and governments of EU member states.
Erdogan will explain once again Turkey's resolution in EU process and its target of getting a negotiation date from EU at the end of December 2004.
In his meetings, the necessity of cooperation and cooperation opportunities in fight with terrorism will be taken up within the scope of the attacks that took place in Istanbul last November.
In general framework, EU Constitution, new reforms, preparation studies of 10 countries which will join the EU in May 2004, foreign, defense and economy policies of the Union will be discussed during the EU summit.
Prime Minister Erdogan will visit Uzbekistan as the official guest of Uzbek President Islam Karimov between 18-20 December. Erdogan who aims to improve the existing relations between the two countries, will be accompanied by many politicians and businessmen during his visit.
