Uzbek riders dominate men's senior individual time trial

November 29Uzbek riders dominated the 40 km men's senior time trial at the Perlis Cycling Open Championship 2003 which began Saturday with three of their riders occupying the top three positions.
Tuychiev Vladimir registered the fastest time of 51 minutes 55.29 seconds to emerge as champion.
The 20-year-old rider outrode his compatriot, Krushevskiy Sergey, 27, who clocked 0'52:16.20s while another compatriot, Shlindov Artem, 22, finished third with a time of 0'52:45.48s.
Australian rider Edmund Hollands ended fourth with a time of 0'53:42.71s while Malaysia's Shahrulneeza Razali finished fifth with a time of 0'54:04.86s.
The race was held at Padang Besar which is famous for its scenic hills and lake, Tasik Timah Tasoh.
The three-day championship is organised by the Perlis state government and Perlis Cycling Association (PBPs).
