Uzbek leader receives credentials from new newly appointed envoys

Uzbek President Islam Karimov received credentials from the Japanese, British, Indian, Israeli, South Korean and Pakistani ambassadors to Uzbekistan at his Oqsaroy residence on 4 September.
The newly appointed Japanese ambassador to Uzbekistan, Akio Kawato, who had been appointed by the Japanese emperor, was the first to present credentials to Islam Karimov. During the conversation, the president of our country wished him every success in Uzbekistan.
After that President Karimov received credentials from the British ambassador to Uzbekistan, Craig Murray, who had been appointed by the British Queen Elizabeth II. He expressed his hope that the ambassador would be in close touch with him during his mission in Uzbekistan.
The Indian ambassador to Uzbekistan, Sharat Sabharwal, also presented his credentials to the Uzbek president. He expressed his satisfaction with his appointment as Indian ambassador to Uzbekistan, and said that he would do everything in his power to expand relations between Uzbekistan and India.
The newly appointed Israeli, South Korean and Pakistani ambassadors to Uzbekistan also presented credentials to the president of Uzbekistan on the same day.
