Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski will visit Uzbekistan on October 20-23, on Uzbek President Islam Karimov's invitation.

Bilateral agreements in the political, economic and military spheres will be signed during the visit, a source in Karimov's administration told Interfax on Wednesday. The agreements involve steps to be taken against organized crime, cooperation in agriculture, and ties between agencies on foreign investment and entrepreneurial activities, he said.

Uzbekistan is Poland's largest partner in Central Asia and the Caucasus, the Polish Embassy in Tashkent told Interfax. Bilateral turnover totaled $110 million in 2001, the embassy said.
