Ukraine to sign economic accords

November 17A number of Uzbek-Ukrainian economic documents are expected to be signed as a result of a two-day visit to Ukraine by Uzbek Prime Minter Otkir Sultonov. The visit began on Sunday. An ITAR-TASS correspondent has learnt from the press service of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry that the sides intend particularly to sign agreements on the implementation of investment projects and the setting up of joint ventures.
In Kiev the Uzbek prime minister has already met the leadership of the government and the Supreme Council (parliament) of Ukraine. The fifth session of the joint intergovernmental Ukrainian-Uzbek commission on all-round cooperation is held as part of the visit under the co-chairmanship of the heads of government of the two countries.
The Uzbek delegation is to visit Kharkiv Region to get acquainted with its production and industrial potential as part of its visit.
