Three bilateral documents have just been signed on the results of the fifth session of the joint Uzbek-Moldovan intergovernmental economic commission for expanding multilateral cooperation.

The co-chairmen of the commission, Otkir Sultonov and Vasile Tarlev, signed a protocol on introducing changes to the agreement between the governments of the two countries on air communication and cooperation in the sphere of air transport, which was signed in 1995. The protocol at today's session was signed by the deputy prime minister of Uzbekistan, Mirabror Usmonov, and the Moldovan deputy prime minister, Dmitrii Todoroglo. The third document which was signed envisages cooperation in tourism.
