Oksana Chusovitina gets gold at gymnastics World Cup

World champion Li Xiaopeng won the parallel bars Sunday at the final gymnastics World Cup of the season, making China the most successful nation at the competition with three gold medals.

Li was awarded 9.837, beating out countryman Huang Xu at 9.787 and Sean Townsend of the United States at 9.700 at the two-day DTB-Cup.

Slovenia's Aljaz Pegan also won the high bars for the second time at the event, having last taken the title in 1994, while world champion Marius Urzica gave Romania its second gold by sweeping the pommel horse.

On the women's side, Olympic champion Elena Zamolodchikova of Russia won the vault for the fourth straight time at the DTB Cup, sharing the gold with Oksana Chusovitina of Uzbekistan after judges awarded both marks of 9.412.
