n spite of different negative informations flooding from some foreign
mass media, today in Khorezm [southwestern Uzbek Region bordering
Turkmenistan] there are many tourists from all around the world. In those reports
they say allegedly the situation in Uzbekistan has become unstable due to
the military action in Afghanistan.
Piere Roshe, tourist, France: "Honestly, I was a little bit worried before the trip on Uzbekistan because it has been reported that there is no guarantee of peace in Uzbekistan. But having arrived in Khorezm, I found myself in quite opposite situation as those reporters said."
Michel Berner, tourist, France: "The stability of the region sometimes is up to the local inhabitants too. And facing the reality, I am convinced of my efforts and ideas, said another tourist from France."
