Adelegation from the USA's CitiHope International humanitarian organization arrived in Uzbekistan.

The head of the US delegation, Paul Moore, who is also president of CitiHope International, introduced some additions to the programme for the visit and held talks at the Soghlom Avlod Uchun [For a Healthy Generation] Charity Foundation Tuesday morning. Following the talks, a long-term agreement was signed.

The agreement provides for the supply of medicines, equipment and foodstuffs to Uzbekistan over the next two years. Wide-ranging issues concerning long-term and fruitful cooperation were discussed after they had discussed rendering free humanitarian aid to Uzbekistan.

Paul Moore said that he was glad that he had come to Uzbekistan and noted that their major task was to improve the lives and health of the people. He also said that the interests and goals of Uzbekistan and the organization coincided in this.

Issues relating to the current demands of the medical clinics are currently being discussed. At the same time, it cannot be ruled out that the organization will render aid to individuals as well.
