Uzbek dissident Mohammed Solih will be released from custody at 11:00 a.m. [1000 gmt] today, Justice Ministry spokesman Vladimir Voracek has told CTK.

"The court came to the conclusion that...[agency ellipsis] there are no apprehensions that he might flee," Voracek said.

Uzbekistan has asked Prague to extradite Solih due to his alleged participation in a terrorist action.

On Wednesday [12 December], Solih will be questioned by a state attorney. By the end of the week the attorney is to propose to the court whether Solih should or should not be extradited to Uzbekistan.
