he number of crimes committed in the Bukhara Region during the first 10 months of the this year fell by 88 cases against the same period of the previous year and serious crimes fell by 11.2 per cent, the Adolat newspaper reported on 30 November.
This is a result of various police operations. For example, during a month-long antiterrorist police operation in Bukhara Region, 29 drug-related crimes were reported and 13 criminals on the police wanted list were detained. Following preventive measures, 32 illegally-owned firearms have been confiscated so far this year, the report said.
